README & SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT
 - SHAREWARE EDITION

Registration:
-------------
There are 2 different registration options.
The first is for $29, which gets you the
full version of Full Motion. Registered version
allows an unlimited number of videos to be included
in the playlist, supports password protection,
allows Full Screen play, and removes all shareware
notices. Registered users also receive:
-CD-ROM filled with 600MB of video clips
-Video Launch Pad utility for AVI and MOV files
-Screen Saver Super Bundle - 8 great screen savers
 (including dinosaurs, skydivers, and hot-air balloons)

The second option is our MEGA-CD for $39. The
MEGA-CD includes all the above, plus 400 color
pictures on CD, 4 additional screen saver, 4
more great utilities, and 4 challenging games.
You get the entire library of GALT products --
22 programs in all, plus all the video clips and
photos. An great value.

Installation:
---------------
To install FULL MOTION,
unzip the FULLMOTN.ZIP program.
Then run the SETUP.EXE program.
Follow the on-screen prompts.
This will load the program onto
your system. To keep file size small
this version does not include the file
========VBRUN300.DLL,==========
but it is *required* to run the program.
This file must be in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.
You can download it from Compuserve or AOL;
it is also available at our Internet site -

Full Motion will play any .AVI or .MOV files
you have. You need to have installed Microsoft
Video for Windows previously to play
AVI files. You need to install QuickTime for
Windows to play MOV files. If you need
Video for Windows or QuickTime,
it is available on Compuserve & AOL
and at our Web site (bottom of main page).

Configuring Screen Saver:
=========================
To use the screen saver, double-click
CONTROL PANEL, usually in the MAIN group
on your desktop. When CONTROL PANEL opens,
double-click on DESKTOP to go into the
desktop configuration screen. About halfway
down the window, select the Screen Saver Name
drop-down box. You should find FULL MOTION in the
list. Select it. Now click on the SETUP button.
In the screen saver setup, you can turn audio
on or off, select full screen or Window playback,
set password, and setup your main and
backup video playlists. Select Main or Backup
Video Playlist; then you can select
any .AVI file, click on preview to view it,
and click 'Add Video' near the bottom to add the
clip to your playlist. The playlist will play
the listed videos in order when the screen
saver kicks in. Click 'DONE' when
you are finished. If you don't have
many good video clips, consider registering
the program. Registered users receive a
CD-ROM filled with over 600 MBs of cool,
screen-shattering video: rollercoasters,
planes, racecars, speedboats, waterfalls,
skiing, skydiving, beaches, clouds, and more!

Performance:
============
Video looks best when you have your display set
for at least 256 colors. With 16,000 colors
you won't get any graininess. If you are trying
to play clips off a CD, you can usually copy them
over to your hard drive for better performance.
And obviously, the faster your computer, the
better. A good 486 or Pentium with local bus
video can scale video up to full screen, in
full motion. All the clips on the Full Motion
CD-ROM are ready to run in full screen mode.

Removing Full Motion:
=====================
To remove Full Motion from your system,
delete the file FULLMOTN.SCR from your
\WINDOWS directory. Also, delete the
directory you chose to install to (default
C:\FULLMOTN -- README & ORDER files
are stored here).

BY USING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO THE
FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

This version of Full Motion is shareware.
You are granted a license to use Full
Motion for a period of up to 30 days. After
that time, you are required to purchase the
product(s) through registration or else
discontinue their use.

You are allowed to make copies of this
software and distribute it to your friends
and co-workers, on electronic bulletin
boards, over networks, and so on, as long
as the product is not distributed for
profit (handling fees up to $5.00 ok).
If you distribute this software, you agree
to distribute this installation executable
which contains the associated files together
as a group. You are not allowed to bundle
this software with other products without
prior written permission from Galt Technology.

Ownership of software:
As licensee, you own the media upon which
the software is recorded or distributed and
are entitled to use the software, but Galt
Technology retains title and ownership of
the original software and all subsequent copies.
This license is not a sale of the software or
any copy. You are not allowed to make any
modifications to, or to create derivative
works from any of the files that are used
in this software. This includes all the
executable, help, installation, and readme
files, as well as video files.

LIMITED WARRANTY:
THE SOFTWARE HEREIN ARE
PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT
WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, BUT
NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE. THE USER MUST ASSUME
THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE
QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF
THE SOFTWARE. SHOULD THE
SOFTWARE PROVE DEFECTIVE,
THE USER ASSUMES THE ENTIRE
COST OF ALL NECESSARY
SERVICING, REPAIR, OR
CORRECTION. ANY LIABILITY

or using this software you agree to be bound
